It looks good, smells good, even tastes good, however, I just don't like soggy pizza base!

What's everyone having for lunch?

We had bacon and cheese wraps for breakfast so probably won't bother with lunch.

Pork chop dinner this evening followed by ice cream and strawberries

Have you tried one of those pizza oven trays with holes in it.... helps to evenly cook the base from outer to inner.

Roasted veg, sweet potato, corgette, carrot, celery, red peppers, onions and garlic with roasted leg of turkey.....

Dieting isn't all bad!!!!

I put it on a rack on top of a circular tray, thinking the air circulation will help the base to crisp up.

Perhaps I did not leave enough of a gap to make the air circulate properly.

May be next time!

Not bad for a base that cost me only 99p, and the toppings I already have in the house, so I am not complaining!

Spicy BBQ Chicken legs, Bombay Aloo, Goby Aloo and spiced potatoe wedges.

Is that one hell of a combination for Sunday lunch ?

Oooh and Sandies washing it down with a botlle of beer and myself - well what else ? - a bottle of cider

It is still bubbling on the stove at the mo!

I like to slow cook the mince until it is melt in the mouth, and I hate lumps!

I like to slow cook the mince until it is melt in the mouth, and I hate lumps!

I usually cook mine for minium two hours whether its spag, chilli, filling for cottage pie or whatever else
