Don't usually cry at movies but Never Let Me Go had me in a complete mess. Think it was worse cause I read the book first which left me upset but not crying...

Going to be a pain in the arse because it's not a film. Been watching series three of Ripper Street, which had me in tears at some point almost every episode.

Thinking on this I think I may have to drop my macho act ( going to refer to it as welling up!)

So first film I did was watching E.T, most recent this year was Pride.

Others that had the same effect to se extent are;

The Iron Giant

Silent Running

Son of Rambow

12 years a Slave

Millions

Only one film as an adult(and I have to admit to it streaming down both cheeks) there's lots of scenes from the film la vita e bella but in particular the scene where guido turns the gramophone to the open window so his wife can hear their favourite piece of music (baracolle, I'm a sucker for beautiful opera) he then carries his young son through the fog with the backdrop of the bodies... It just beats you around the head with every emotion from sadness to joy and laughter to depravity.

If you've never watched it, do but make sure you rent it in its original English subtitled form.

I confess to getting a little emotional during films, at times.

Most notable during Life is Beautiful and A Bridge to Terabithia..

I highly recommend both of them.
