You need an acetone based remover, they also remove acrylics

Put normal nail polish over it then use the remover, that trick works with permanent marker on white boards

Yep this! You might need to soak your nails for a few seconds at a time. Don't do it for too long though as it dries your nails/skin out. Moisturise after.

South East Midlands NOT

I always file off glitter polish. From acrylic nails this is the best way to go as acetone will weaken the acrylic.

Damn, I was going to suggest wd40 or that Brasso stuff...wrong type of nails though

White vinegar is supposed to have miraculous cleaning properties, maybe try that, if all else fails!

West Yorkshire

Tear 10 small pieces of tin foil and get ten balls of cotton wool. Put acetone on the cotton wool, put it on your nail then wrap in tin foil. Leave for a good few minutes and heat helps.

Theoretically the polish should then come off in one piece when you slide the cotton wool off....Theoretically.

Easier to do one hand at once

Thanks everyone.

I have, however, just decided to cover the glitter with irridescent blue.

Apologies for my spelling xx
