How the hell can it take 7 hours to drive from Manchester to Devon? It's usually 4.30 in my 1989 Nissan micra!

Avoid M6 South and North bound. Was at a stand still. Took me 2 hours to drive 16 miles but I gave up and hit the back roads. Managed to get past it all after getting lost near Newcastle-Upon-Lyme...

Should have taken a satnav. God I'm tired.. But over tired.. I'm to tired to care

It only took us 5 hours to drive to Skegness and we stopped for McDonalds. Did you go the scenic route around the coastline?

Skegness is opposite direction. M18 way I think on the east coast. I was on west coast heading towards Birmingham.
