lots of water before bed rehydrates the body ... the brain is a high water content organ and the dehydration caused by excessive alcohol consumption causes it to shrink causing the headache ...lots of water before bed allows rehydration to occur whilst asleep and the headache is avoided ....so the rumour has it !! |

I hardly drink but if I go out I drink as much water as I can before I go to bed |
