My friends son was 13 on Christmas Day, he hates having his birthday on Xmas day, my friend and her family have always bought him toys and presents at Easter time so Cos it's quite gutting to have your birthday overshadowed by Xmas! |

Mine was the 19th and I always hear "must be great, you get presents then more presents 6 days later".
Um no, because I have to wait a whole year and it's pointless trying to organise a party as everyone is skint!
I think everyone with birthdays in Dec and Jan should have an official birthday in the summer, like the queen |

My daughters is Jan 2nd and she hates it because everyone forgets it and nobody's free as its all tied up with Christmas and new year. My particular bug bear is people getting her a joint xmas/birthday present NNNOOOOO it's her birthday it's separate you wouldn't do that to someone who's birthday is in April!!. To make it up to her she has an unofficial birthday in summer on the day I adopted her |

As a rebellious 13yo I was so fed up with the 'and a Happy Birthday' business I sent everyone a birthday present with 'and a Happy Christmas' written on the card. |

Mine is on the 1st December which is far enough away, but I still used to get combined gifts when I was a child which I thought was unfair. As I grew up though I used to ban the C word till after the 1st |

My sis has birthday on new years eve. Its a bugger as everywhere is charging entry. So whole family does a day of something special and see new year in together. Its a good compromise. |

I have 3 friends with birthdays on xmas day and one on boxing day. One of such friends is a very close friend who I suggested to that he celebrate his birthday on June 25th, furthest point in calendar you can get. He loved the idea, and has been doing so for around 10 years. His mother refuses to celebrate it then and hates my guts for coming up with the idea. Can't please everyone I guess! |

Mine is January 15th which in the past meant no one has been able to afford to go out etc.
For the last couple of years I've either attended or organised a social from a different site, a lot of the attendees have had January birthdays so it's like a mass celebration that we do the last weekend in Jan/first in Feb depending on when those post Christmas paydays fall.
Sadly it's in York 2015 and as I'm out of work currently I can't afford it. |

My daughters birthday is New Year's Day. We always made a fuss so it was always special for her. Her best birthday was 2011 as at the stroke of midnight her boyfriend wished her happy birthday, happy new year and would she be his wife? |

My daughter's birthday is also Christmas eve, she was 21 this year and I've always made a big thing of making sure her birthday and Christmas are separate celebrations
