A man and woman were having a quiet romantic dinner in a dark corner of one of Belgrade’s better restaurants. They were gazing lovingly at each other and holding hands.
The waitress taking an order at a nearby table noticed the man slowly sliding down his chair and under the table but the woman stared straight ahead. The waitress looked out of the corner of her eye to see that the man had completely disappeared under the table, and still the woman fixed her gaze straight ahead.
The waitress fearful that other guests will be offended by the risque behaviour went over to the table and tactfully began by saying to the woman, “pardon me madam, but I think your husband has just slid under the table.”
The woman calmly looked up at her and said, “no my husband has just walked in the door.” |
