What is a rugby players physique ?

My OH plays rugby and all that I notice is that at least once a month his nose is pointing a different direction and he has a shiner that wasn't like that when I sent him out that morning , a bit of a pot belly and a talent for downing a pint in under 4 seconds .

But bugger me his thighs are to die for ....

It really depends if he's a winger, a prop forward or a back row

I see guys of different shapes and sizes playing, especially the amateur game.

Sebastian Clegane is probably the most primitive looking rugby player there is with long hair and coolest of them all.

After seeing many pictures of guys claiming this I would go with the chubby but still active look.

I always had the "rugby player physique" as tall, stocky/well-built, muscley but with some extra padding (so not ripped), rugged masculine facial features and thighs to die for - Which is exactly the type of man I love.

However, I stopped using the term as you'd ask for rugby player types and get responses from short, slim and big men alike with the argument that rugby players come in all shapes and sizes.

So really, if you're hoping to use it as a type, it's useless.
