How close is too close for a meet?

My "best friend" met on fab. We did live a few roads away. Then I moved about 1 1/2 miles away. Then she moved within half mile. Then I moved to same road.....ain't no problem! Should it be (unless one is married n sneaky?) |

We met our neighbours on here before we had even spoken to them in real life ! 
In fact we now know quite a few who live near and its not a problem at all ..... in fact its no different to knowing people on your own street /estate / road anyhow .... why should it be a problem?.
Its not as if we all walk around with T-Shirts on saying "have we shagged you off Fab" ? .......... oh hang on - now there's an idea  |

I play with a couple that live within 50 yds of my front door, they have children, there is no problem, I say "hi" when I see them but would never say or do anything to compromise them in any way.
Maybe the question should be when is someone too indiscreet to play with no mater where they live? |

I avoid men that are too close to home. This is a very close knit rural community and I quite like to keep my private life private.
Not everyone on Fab knows the meaning of the word discretion. |

It becomes a problem when you say you don't want to see them again and they knock on your door because they saw you and followed you home |

I won't meet anyone where they live close enough there will be a possibility of us seeing each other in every day life, I do get a lot of messages from men in my town I simply tell them they live to close most don't see it as a problem infact a lot seen to think finding a woman on here who meets men within half a mile is a bonus |

Don't have a problem with it to be fair we often see people that we have met off here in the supermarket or seen people from clubs at Pauls workplace. However far you travel for a club someone else may also travel that far

I have 2 on the same street (there's only 20 houses), one 5 miles away and another 7 miles away. No problems at all. |

We wouldn't meet anyone local, fab and our home lives are completely separate and that's how we'd want it to stay.
I have politely turned down several close to home who got rather shirty about it! |

when we first joined up we always said we wont meet anyone local and always meet people out of town. Well thats all changed, weve met a few locals now and seen them in town  |
