Went to eat a mince tart after lunch today and when I was about to open the brandy butter realised that I had bought goose fat and not brandy butter . I did think it a bit strange that the brandy butter was in a glass jar as opposed to. plastic tub. I will check the labels next year and not make assumptions before buying Xmas food .
