What do you have?

Do you have anything unusual with your dinner away for the norm?

Honestly I don't care what I have as long as there is loads of Turkey.

I like the traditional turkey with al the trimmings. I'd be gutted if I didn't have that and even more gutted if I didn't get the leg to eat.

Oh but that's not why my profile name is Legs! either

We usually have goose and all tbe traditional trimmings. We're not big on Christmas pudding though so we don't usually bother.

But this year I'm beintaken out for my chrimble dinner so I'll be having whatever the nice people at the very good Italian restaurant see fit to give me and I'm sure it'll be lovely. I'm quite enjoying the surprise and I hope it's not a roast bird.

in past years i've cooked for family and done beef & pork with all the trimmings, this year i'm home alone so i decided on a 3 bird roast, but i cooked it a couple of days ago, so the new plan is a 3 bird pineapple & mango curry, which is simmering away nicely right now and smells delicious

I had salt beef yesterday. Not really a fan of Turkey joint.

Today I'm working so helped myself to some parsnips and pigs in blankets from the chef, but will primarily survive on cooked chicken wings and Quality Streets.

Had an apple and black coffee as didn't cook. Himself didn't get me a present reminded me he hated Christmas but expected Christmas dinner with the trimmings!

Yeah...right...and to think I could have spent Christmas being pampered by my daughter but didn't want to leave him alone.

This makes me sad.

We don't have turkey but have a table laden with favourite things. Chorizo, crispy duck and pancakes, tricolore salad and scallops is not an unusual combination to find on a plate over here.

I had roast potatoes and mushy peas my favourite roast dinner........it was with family. I am doing Christmas dinner for me and him today and I might do roast but when I make it I throw in lots of sprouts, carrots and we will definitely have mint sauce because I missed it yesterday

Love a traditional roast. Wouldn't have it any other way.

However I'm fed up of my dad overcooking the veg. He's graduated from boiling to steaming but still manages it! Then when he has a meal at mine he thinks the veg is underdone
