Its was pretty good. Brought back memories of my youth. Its really weird to think how time goes so fast. 5 year and 5 days ago i popped out a kid.

Never really thought much of the Guardians in book form, and thought the film would be a bit of a kids thing, but was I wrong! Brilliant,and Rocket is my new hero. |

Watched it on the flight back from the US on a silly little screen and still managed to love it. The level of humour is great. When they don't taken the subject matter too seriously they can make some great films. |

This was a film that had Batista fighting Robot Ninja Amy Pond. Major Nerd Boner, right off the bat.
There's a really good Q/A with the director, who mainly came from a weird alt/indie film background and was pretty much given free reign to do whatever he wanted by the suits. Turns out, good characters beat special effects, every time.
See Rest-of-Hollywood? Take some fucking risks every now and then, not every film has to be 'hey guys remember 9/11 ooh explosions' over and over again.
I'm looking at you, Michael Bay. You tit. |

We watched this round at a friends last night.
Not my usual bag movie wise, but gotta say, absolutely loved it.
Funny as buggery in parts and great central characters.
The lead actor, I think, would be a very welcome addition to many peoples nights if he rocked up at a club. |

It's my film of the year......considering before it was announced I knew nothing of it.
I love cap always have done but guardians was just awsome.
Filming was actually very good considering james gunn is essentially an indie filmaker
Characters perfect, star Lord funny as, for me Han solo of the new generation, rocket and groot very good cgi but with characterisation, gamorah and nebula mmmmmmmmm, it was funny emotional, witty action packed
Now the sound track well best album of the year as well. I manged to get all the songs on spotify when the film was released and have been listening to them all year. Some real classics on there, hooked on a feeling, cherry bomb, and piña colada song awsome
I have te film on itubes and blue ray, and it's actually on my top 10 list. 2.5 years to go to the next one rock on |

Whole heartedly agree, finally a real creative story, creative plot, great screenplay and fantastic animation, really like I thought Marvel should be like, leave the rebooting alone. |

Anyway Iron man really needs to get fed up of earth and go hang out with the Guardians. Seeing him hit on Gamora is pretty freakin hilarious. |

I think part of the success of guardians was just how anonymous the original comic series had been. Unlike with spiderman or xmen where fans complained about minute details being wrong, people didn't have an opinion that things were different. There were no "oh drax's tattoos are all wrong" and "but rocket was never a bounty hunter." It was a fresh film and really did well from it. I loved it and really look forward to the next one... Not as much as AOU though |
