What the hell kind of hour is this to wake up? That's the question my body is asking me, woke bolt upright after a nightmare and now I can't get back to sleep, my hearts racing and the adrenaline' got me wired.
Good morning to the ghost shift workers, insomniacs and anyone else awake at this unearthly hour.

Oooo that's reminded me, must get my hair cut today. I look like a near 40 year old boy band member with floppy hair and and dopey expression from the tiredness. |

"Morning all.
A day of preparations ahead - especially since I got pleaded with big puppy dog eyes to make sausage rolls and mince pies! Guess it's a baking day today! "
Same here, another baking day plus cooking a large piece of ham too ready for tea tonight.
Morning everyone. Hope you get all your preparations sorted in a fairly stress free way today. |

The ham is the easy bit of today! Just stick it in a pan and simmer.
We're eating out tomorrow so no prep or stress about that. |

If only I could persuade the mother in law to eat out for Christmas Lunch, no cooking, no washing up, beers on tap, sounds perfect. |

No idea what we'll be having as it's an Italian restaurant, but we've been promised five courses and I've never had a bad meal there so it should be lovely!
The only downside is that since I'm not the one paying the bill I suspect I'll be the one doing the driving (fair exchange) so just one glass of prosecco with my lunch. |
