I've had better nights in Travelodges than better hotels. I left The Hilton one night and got 3 buses home,in sleet because I wanted my own bed and was bored. |

Perhaps the OP could have phrased his question or statement in a better way? From personal experience I have been asked to meet a couple (I did contact them)on the basis I pay for dinner and drinks in return for their company. I could afford it without a problem but once I knew the deal I declined the financial proposition.
If you apply market forces to this environment (tin hat on and strapped around my chin) for a moment the supply of single men or those purporting to be single is extremely high. The demand for this supply in terms of single ladies and (MF) couples by comparison is very low. The market is therefore in a state of inequilibrium which allows the demand section of the situation to become special purchases and in some cases place unrealistic demands on the supply chain.
However I would not suggest for one moment this environment was a (cattle) market but merely a place where like minded adults meet to discuss special interests in a cogent and intellectual way? |

Justabitdirty is way out of my league...as are a few others who dont frequent these hallowed corridors.
