So, are any fabbers spending Christmas day alone?

Is this something you're doing by choice?

How do you feel about being alone on Christmas day?

Me?

I'm spending it alone and i'm quite looking forward to the peace and quiet (no, not bah humbug) i love Christmas, it's just all my family living away from the City where i am, my day of madness is Tomorrow instead, getting round all the family houses not to mention other relatives too, the only thing i will miss is staying in bed snuggled up to someone.

there is a big difference between being alone and being lonely

for all those who will be happily alone spare a though for the lonely ones and for the ones who have to endure the gatherings with relative strangers

Nothing worse than feeling alone in a crowded room.

I'm looking forward to Xmas day when the family are round for dinner but will be glad when it's over, moreso as I'm feeling rough too

Agreed: only remember being lonely once and I was surrounded by my family on Christmas day. I left my husband four months later.
