No it's made like most by an independent production company so bits that aren't sold to the bbc in episodes belongs to the producers, which Jeremy clarkson is the chief shareholder which is why he makes the mega wonga  |

I remember the story of old top gear slating a new Renault car.
The board at Renault so incensed one suggested to pull all advertising....Clarkson enjoy informing is someone had to say BBC doesn't have advertising so tough shit Renault.
Those days are long gone.
With top gear being such a money spinner for the bbc thesedays it is bland beyond belief- they can't risk the cash it brings in that any potential popular bbc program won't speak its mind.
