Do people still drink these?

As a young girl i thought i was very grown up having a sip of mother's snowball.............

Are they well and truly out of fashion now or do some of you still enjoy a festive glass?

I used to always remember babycham,s or Pony and cherry b,s back in the 70,s and 80,s especially for christmas celebrations etc all served in little Bottles for good reason, we always had a Bottle of warnicks at christmas time.

No idea what a showball is but I remember babycham. Haven't thought about for years. Got a total flash back of my dad's solid gold (painted) drinks trolley and lifting drinks off it.

I wonder if crushed glazed Cherries would add any flavour to a snowball Perhaps the alcohol would help do that Over time when crushed (not sure about before) never enough time while you want to drink them..

We used to make them for the kids at christmas after they reached double figures.

A snowball is a Glass of dutch advocart with lemonade Added gets quite frothy but is a nice Drink.
