Hi naughty fabbers.

Are any of you all alone over Christmas.

Are you like me, no family or children and will be spending Christmas day alone?

Try to imagine

A house that's not a home

Try to imagine

The Christmas all alone

That's where I'll be since you left me

My tears could melt the snow

What can I do without you?

I've got no place, no place to go

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Without you to hold

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Lonely and cold

It'll be cold, so cold

Without you to hold

This Christmas

Each time I remember

The day you went away

And how I would listen

To the things you had to say

I just break down as I look around

And the only things I see

Are emptiness and loneliness

And an unlit Christmas tree

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Without you to hold

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Lonely and cold

It'll be cold, so cold

Without you to hold

This Christmas

{You remember last year

When you and I were here

We never thought there'd be an end

And I remember looking at you then}

{And I remember thinking

That Christmas must have been made for us

'Cos darling, this is the time of year

That you really, you really need love

When it means so very, very much}

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Without you to hold

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Lonely and cold

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Without you to hold

It'll be lonely this Christmas

Lonely and cold

It'll be cold, so cold

Without you to hold

It's Christmas

Merry Christmas darling

Wherever you are

I am going to the 24/7 when I run out of beer

I'm away to the parents at Xmas myself but on the years I've been unable to get to family, Ive eaten with friends, I'm not often alone unless I choose to be.

Enjoy controlling the remote, having all the best choccys in the tin, eating whatever you want for your xmas dinner and having no bickering kids/ family!!x

'Lonely' and 'alone' needn't be the same thing.

I'm off to see my youngest kids Xmas morning, from about 10am-Midday, then back home to park the car up, open the lager and vodka and get into the christmas spirit whilst doing a fair bit of perving online I would of thought

Christmas is always busy family in abundance but Boxing Day is mine drink vodka for breakfast pass out in front of telly by the afternoon. Alone but pure bliss makes up for the enforced over indulgence of the day before.

"Hi naughty fabbers.

No, I've never spent Christmas alone: always surrounded by loved ones, but the loneliness time in my life was the Christmas before I left my husband.

We pretended everything was fine for the kids: it was awful. Before last year I was alone, as in not having a partner, but I was never lonely.

Alone and lonely are not the same.

"Hi naughty fabbers.

. Probably yes . I am always travelling to different locations either driving or flying ,so I actually enjoy being at home for a day ..There is a lovely view from the house and I enjoy cooking so I can eat exactly as I please. Will only drink one can of Guinness in case I have to drive. It might be selfish buy I enjoy the day by myself. I always have loads of things to do anyway .

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It is probably too late to volunteer for the Christmas shelters but have a look at visiting housebound people who are alone.

If you are alone then it is a choice as there is plenty to do out there. It may even help your loneliness.

I go out for lunch on both days but I always come home in the afternoon. Funnily enough the only time I was ever lonely at Christmas was when I was seeing my ex Being single doesn't have to mean you're lonely.

Christmas eve it's off to the cinema to see a xmas film then waiting for santa - i get more excited than the kids - i'm ridiculous! Xmas day and boxing day it's kids, family and friends - then on the 27th I get a night off and the kids visit their dad. Can't imagine Christmas without kids!!

In case I forget later on - i'd like to wish all you wonderful, amazing fabbers out there - who've made this year one of the best of my life - a truly wonderful Christmas - wherever you are and whoever you're with! Huge hugs! Xxx

I'll be with family on Christmas Eve and day, then it'll be a mix of chilling and catching up with friends and family - I don't feel like doing much but relaxing, been working far too hard recently

Hope everyone has an amazing time though, and a great Christmas - agree with one poster above, if you're alone and want some company, look at volunteering, I've done it before and it feels rewarding to say the least

My friends are aware of my situation.

They are with family or going away. My friends are crap tbh.

Think in the new year I will try find some new friends.

I might stay awake as long as I can from Wednesday morning then hopefully sleep all Thursday and wake up when it's all over x

They are either with family or out of town.

There isn't much volunteer work where I live and public transport is useless on holidays.

There's 66 opportunities within 5 miles of Bromsgrove on the Do It website. If you really want to volunteer, check it out.

If not, what about a pub - must be some nearby that open on the day - good way to get out of the house and socialise

Won't be alone but will feel lonely if this retched sucky mood I'm in doesn't clear!

Remember Christmas Day is just one day, it will be over just as quickly as any other day.
