When I have a hangover it usually means I was drinking with my boss, so when I'm suffering he's usually suffering more...a small consolation lol

If you drive or cycle to work, yes

If it affects your performance in work, not illegal but a disciplinary matter

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

As I have never had one, I have no sympathy, and would be pretty p'd off if my colleagues kept calling in with hangovers. If you know you need to work, exercise some restraint if you know you suffer.

Its self inflicted so get on with it - unless it could affect your performance at work (driving, caring for others, medicines etc)

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Alcohol can affect my joints so that it makes work difficult and painful. I don't drink if I need to work.

I don't have much sympathy for the hungover at work crew.

Fuck me! I'm not whinging I was just asking a light hearted question.

Never in my life have I phoned in sick with a hangover, it's party season I'm pretty sure lots of people are a little under the weather at work.

It certainly didn't compromise my ability to work.

Sheesh!!

I took a days holiday knowing I was going to be hungover following an epic drinking session. I still went in to work in the afternoon though. Sad innit...

Didn't want to leave a colleague in the lurch, but there was no way to predict when I would have been sober enough to function. Better to be there when not expected to be, than not there when I was supposed to be

. No , unless your role involve driving , operating dangerous machinery or you work in a customer facing role where being on the ball and alert is crucial. As I drive a lot and only ever drink a can of Guinness with my meal , I do not suffer the problem of hang overs . My driving licence is also crucial for going to meets and drink does little to enhance staying power so tend to avoid .

the rule is simple....If it was self induced you present yourself for work the next morning. If you spend the day driving the porcelain bus in the disabled wc or get sent home is optional. ...but you get yourself in...end of story....
