yes n no,,good year as in bought a lovely big new house and my works going well.
bad as in my sister is very ill (cancer)

Fatigue - I understand now why lots of low level stress and little things can be bad for you - it nibbles away and at the moment I'm burned out - tired depsite sleeping well.
Not as bad as some but well have to face our problems |

If you get comfort from speaking to your friends on here and from the Forums then that can't be wrong. We all need distraction at times and let's face it, Fab and the Forums can be a bledi great distraction. Take care and hope 2015 will be a better year for you. |

Sorry to hear about your dad. Yes some people on here may be judgemental but ignore them and get the support you need from your friends.
2014 has been an awful year for me, but i've thankfully not lost anyone I'm close to. However it's still been a nightmare. Roll on 2015! |

It's really nice to see all the supportive messages on here for someone who's going through a difficult time. It's goes someway to restoring my faith in humanity. I'm really quite touched by it.

All's well that ends well. It started with much promise and I was buzzing but it took a turn for the worse as my birthday approached and hit a low point this summer. It has recovered a bit recently and is currently ok. I've started enjoying myself again in the last couple of weeks.
I have learned a lot about myself, others and relationships so from that perspective it has been good and those close to me are in good or improved health, as am I.  |

Condolences on your loss. I hope 2015 is a better year for you. Take each day as it comes and allow yourself some time.
My year has been good and I have done as much as I can to ensure a good 2015. Life, the universe and other people will determine some of whether it is a great year or not but my personal response will be to take it as it comes and respond at the time. There's nothing to be gained by worrying about it all now.

Not the best of years- 2014 started with being hospitalised for 3 weeks - my birthday gift was being diagnosed as diabetic and the year is ending with a car which is only fit for scrap- 2015 can't be worse (fingers crossed)  |

My year has had a lot of ups and downs. I've been unwell and put on all the weight I lost back on because of it. People who I thought were 'friends' turned out not to be
However, I completed another [walking] marathon, I've turned 50, had a great couple of months, got my confidence back even when I felt at at my most unattractive and unsexy. Got rid of the 'junk' from my life so my year is finishing on a high.

Ultimately its your father, your feelings and if it makes you feel even a bit better to be on here then no one is in any position to judge you
All sorts of thoughts and feelings go through your head when someone you love dies, (I know because my husband died in March this year, not because my aunties cat died or anything that people say to try and placate you!!). At work we suggest to parents that they send kiddies to school fairly soon after a bereavement to give their minds some "time off" from the situation |

Mine started ok, thought all the crap and drama was finally over, then Easter it all went tits up. I comfort ate and piled weight on! But I did have a lovely party with some great fab friends in June which was the highlight of this year, and have taken control of things and lost 2 stone and exercised loads.
This year will end on a happy note as long as my poor lad doesn't have to spend 6 weeks in plaster on Monday! Fingers crossed.
To all those that have had a tough year I hope next year is better |

So sorry to hear about your dad. No its not wrong if you to be on here. Its a great community on fab. I was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. I got slated for continuing to stay on fab. But i have made so msny amszing friends thst they helped me cope with the illness and was there when i hit rock bottom

A ruptured ACL resulting in the last 4 months on crutches and me being off work, operation due in new year. Will have had around 8 months off by the time I go back to work.
Had to cancel my dream holiday touring Italy and also a holiday to Germany
A fortnight ago my 23 year old tried to take his own life, he has severe depression and paranoid delusions, doctors are also looking at seeing into whether he has schizophrenia.
Utterly heartbreaking having someone you love sobbing in your arms begging you to let them kill themselves
Hopefully 2015 will see them sort suitable medication for him and psychology appointments, and me back at work after a successful op |

Sympathies for your loss- my mum died on 23rd Dec 1989 and it has taken the gloss off Christmas ever since - still life DOES go on for those who remain - so chin up for 2015 |

Lost my aunt my father and the dog my late partner gave me. lost a friend gained some more, and cancer has stayed in remission this year.
Hope next year is much better though as I feel I need a break. xx |

2012 was the worst year of my life, 2013 faired much better, but this year had been awesome. I am ready for whatever 2015 has to throw at me.

Its been a tough year, we separated in February and I was completely crushed, but we're back together and happier than ever before, we've suffered great loss when kinky's best friend passed away in July. Here's hoping for a joyful 2015.....we wish everyone all the best

Last couple of months have turned this year round for me. A couple of new friends, some new experiences, greater self-esteem and a new spring in my step and a smile.

ive had it all from November got pneumonia was in hospital 3 weeks had a heart attack came out in rash from contrast for ct scans finally had aniogram and my coronary artery was blocking so have four stents put in
got out of hospital fell in car park nearly went back to A E got home fell in flower bed
got cellulitis in legs so now bandaged
got back then my mum had to go to harefield
daughter broke her foot then came for visit home today covered in spots think its chickenpox now don't know if I should see grandson xmas day as they are off to finland 28th dec

Makes me feel not alone in it all. Misses leaves me, I'm raising out child alone, uncle is murdered and my father who I haven't spoke to for years has cancer and dementia. My work are he'll bent on getting rid of me and I feel alone constantly. But one things for sure, when 2015 hits it could only get better. I'm certain there are people who have it worse but it's almost pleasant (not that I wish suffering on anone) to know it's not all about me lol |

It hasn't been great so I'm hoping 2015 will be a lot better. All things being equal though it hasn't been as bad as some of you, so I'm thankful for that.

Not sure if it's been a good or bad year however a colleague has paraneoplastic neurological disorder - so has been bed ridden all year therefore compared to that it's been a good year. I suppose there's always going to be some worse off. |

Crap year! My mom suddenly and unexpectedly died in August, my twin brother is killing himself injecting drugs as he can't cope! One moment we're the closest,happiest we've ever been the next it's all gone and find myself alone in this world with a head full of madness!
2015 can't come soon enough  |
