I haven't won a thing but my brother won £6000 a few months back in a online competition.

He did give me £500 which was nice of him. I stuck it into shares which i hope will be a good investment.

I consider myself to be generally unlucky at games of chance. Give me something with a bit of skill behind it, and my odds shorten.

I've won a couple of bottle of Veuve Clicquot and graphic tablet.

Kate won a "caption" competition for Loreal about 5yrs ago and won a day in London, overnight stay, travelling expenses and hair do and makeover by Michael Douglas. Apparently he's a famous hairdresser

We both went and had a great day, while Kate was in Loreal head salon just off Oxford Street I entertained myself in a couple of local pubs, as you do

She had a styling, colouring and stuff, and had loads of freebees conditioner and shampoo

He told Kate that Victoria Beckham is one of his regulars, but he has to go to her house,

I won 4 tickets to be in the audience at a 'Robot Wars' recording. It was brilliant ... even though it was Pom's 'thing' and not mine, it was still fun. It was great seeing Phillipa Forester in her leathers and Craig wassisname doing the presenting and all the robots being tweaked backstage before their fights. Top day out

an ex sister in law of mine used to work for a very well known weekly listings mag and they used to have some great competitions. sadly the staff used to rig most of the competitions and keep the prizes. i once won a tv in a comp i didn't know about and hadn't entered. she picked it up and took it home the day after i received it

I won a personality contest at a holiday park in Looe several years back. Got a free weeks holiday to go back for the finals week, 4 adults free and up to 4 more for only £10. Was great, only thing it was 4 weeks after the original holiday and we were super skint. Still went though! Needless to say I didnt win the overall title as I got d*unk! Jessica

we actually know two people who have won the lottery. one won 12 million ,the other 5 million. we still do the lottery even tho the chances of 3 people from the same crowd winning it must be virtually zero
