rosemary isn't advised for epileptics.

apart from that it sounds like something that would deoderise, bet it smells nice. i only use patchouli or lavender these days.

eucalyptus and clove should help, if you're using it to get rid of a cold?

also, try enchidnea tea, i do use that sometimes because i'm diabetic and sometimes have low immunity.

It was the idea of the smell which encouraged me to find out more.

interesting about the rosemary - never heard of that - i used to suffer from epilepsy and occasionally have fits in my sleep - i took cod liver oil capsules for a time and they had an adverse effect even though they suggest the opposite

figured i'd better google and check, was old info from a course i took ages ago, and a few oils aren't advised.

"Are any essential oils not recommended for use in epilepsy?

Rosemary, fennel, sage, eucalyptus, hyssop, camphor and spike lavender are not recommended as essential oils if you have epilepsy. This is because these essential oils may trigger seizures in some people with epilepsy. For pregnant women there are also a number of other oils to avoid."

i hadn't heard that about the cod liver oils either.

cod liver oils are supposed to be good but left me feeling rather frail - my fave fruit is banana and was supposed to avoid that too - ive outgrown it now not to affect me but the cod liver did just a couple of years ago - weird eh just have to know your own body

Never once in over twenty years since I was diagnosed, had a doctor or specialist mentioned any of these to me. Perhaps they assumed that I thought aromatherapy was just a complete load of arsewash. I might have given them that impression. Can't for the life of me think how.
