Possibly a question best answered by the ladies in here. I have a meet arranged for next week, and the couple insist on safe sex and condoms must be used. I haven't used a condom in years, and was just wondering.... are the ribbed condoms more pleasurable for the lady, rather than just normal ones?

Why don't you ask the lady you are meeting what she prefers? She may have a preference.

I use ribbed ones at the minute, can't really tell any difference? Am really wet though so think that doesn't help.

The extra thin ones feel really good, they're the only ones I can tell a difference with so far.

I personally prefer the extra safe ones - and will provide them for anyone who isn't a regular partner.

She may have a similar preference. Or she might not. You should ask.

My thought was that these may have a slightly enhanced feeling . And obviously it's important that te lady gets the best feeling possible. Thanks.

Plus if it's been a while check you don't have any latex allergies. And that any you do pick actually feel comfortable for you. I have started to use "Mates skyns" and find them best for me.

Have fun

I did see them also and thinking it would give the most natural feeling like not wearing one. Just a little concerned that being extra thin they stand more chance of splitting.

I've never had any issues before ( thou it was years ago ) maybe they have also changed the lubricants they use. Something else for me to consider. Lol.

Think I will just buy several different packs all of the flavours / sizes / textures etc. Variety is the spice of life I guess. Lol.

He bought them for a change,he said they might feel better for me. I must admit it was a different sensation. I've also used the extra thin ones which haven't split so far, even on a larger member. He said it feels like he isn't wearing anything. The extra safe ones I've used smell terribly and I itch afterwards until I shower.

If you havent used them for a few years it may be a good idea to practice putting them on.

Its a real mood killer when a guy comes to put one on and hasn't got a clue!!

We have actually walked out of a play room and left a guy sat struggling to get a condom on !

Hope you have a fun meet .

Thanks. From years gone past I agree it can ruin the moment. Thumbling about with them!!! . . If I recall correctly the last time I used one the lady put it on for me, which was actually very nice. But I will take your tip on board. It will also give me the chance to feel the different ones before my meet, and make a suitable choice. Think I will just buy a variety pack lol.

Blimey something else for me to consider, is it the lubricant that makes you sore ? I am tempted by the real feel ones and want it to feel as good as possible.

I will have to contact my new friends and check on their preferences. Thanks for the advice.

Nonynoxyl 9 which is the spermicide that is on many of the extra safe condoms causes irritation in a lot of people - it melts nail polish so that's how strong it is!

The world health organisation and the nhs have suggested that the irritation caused by this stuff can cause sores which mean that it makes sex more risky instead of safer! I find it triggers my eczema internally and triggers thrush. So I generally supply my own condoms.

Yeah it does.

But it also means they're less likely to get ripped or torn.

And since you're cheating on your wife, you might want to think about being as safe as possible since otherwise you're going to have to have a plan in place to potentially explain how you caught an STD or need to provide for a child...

Seems lots of people use condoms simply for health protection these days and not birth control. I guess that's the modern world we live in. And very wise to use them if you have any doubt about your partner.

I think a wise person would use them for any encounter other than with a trusted long term partner. They don't protect one hundred per cent though.....something to be aware of if there are people other than oneself to consider.

I've got vulval dermatitis from condoms. I rattled durex by asking what agents might cause allergic reactions. Turns it's the ones that claim to make the bloke last longer that cause most problems.

Skyns latex free have never caused any problems.

"The real feel ones are amazing and havent split on me yet and ive had some rather vigorous sex with a guy using them!

Maybe also find out if she has a preference.. I personally cant use some brands as they leave my lady bits sore afterwards

Blimey something else for me to consider, is it the lubricant that makes you sore ? I am tempted by the real feel ones and want it to feel as good as possible.

I will have to contact my new friends and check on their preferences. Thanks for the advice.

I have no idea its all complicated :/ i have very sensitive skin so i think the thicker ones actually chafe me

I've got vulval dermatitis from condoms. I rattled durex by asking what agents might cause allergic reactions. Turns it's the ones that claim to make the bloke last longer that cause most problems.

Skyns latex free have never caused any problems. "

I like the idea of lasting longer, but not at the expense of causing the lady discomfort.

Central

I'd get latex free, in case of allergies. Skyns are good.

"

Thanks, but there is no risk of pregnancy just the health aspects.

"Just" the health aspects. (And unless she has no uterus or ovaries... there's generally still a risk."

Thanks, so much free advice here

Hopefully they take their own advice too eh

i am confident this couple are 101 % safe otherwise i wouldn't entertain them.

I was talking about the people giving you advice on here

Oh LOL, sorry, misunderstood you.... im sure the wise people on here, practice what they preach ! "

If you are referring to me then I certainly do. Only ever have casual sex with the full consent of my husband and usually in his presence. Rarely indulge in penetration with other men because of the risks of STIs, even with a condom
