Any fans of the show, which ended the first series tonight, will be pleased to know that Andy Whitfield is healthy and getting ready to start filming series 2 in October.
After series 1 had been shot Andy (Spartacus) was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma,a type of cancer.
After 4 months of intensive treatment he's cancer free and back in training.
It seems he's a battler in real life as well as the arena, can't wait for the next series.

I hope that is the case as Erin Cummings (Spartacus' wife) will feature in a prequel series and man, she has one gorgeously H.O.T. bod!!
Sadly, a prequel series will not include Katrina Law (Miya) who has an equally gorgeously H.O.T. bod!!
I think a dream sequence featuring both girls making out together in a forest with rays on sunlight splaying across their dew-soaked skin... um... brb. |

Spartacus kept 20 guys entertained for 6 nights whilst we were working offshore... 2 episodes a night & 3 on the Saturday...
Brilliant entertainment given our location.... Hope the next series is as good...
BTW.... He Gets Killed in the end... |

Just watched the final part. Great, sooo much blood, gore and loads of beautiful bodies. Roll on the next series.
I chuckled every week at the pre show warning about violence, bad language and nudity, what were we expecting from a show about gladiators |
