I think it's anything by Queen - parents were well into them, or John Denver as well.
I remember Boney M "By the Rivers of Babylon" one Christmas - remember wrapping presents to it lol! |

The night Chicago died by, I think, paper lace. It was on a ktel compilation record of top of the pops. Played that album to death. And even now, when I hear some old songs, I expect certain songs to come next, as that was the order of songs on that album.
Ktel....the greatest record co. ..........in the world! |

My dad played Country (mainly JC) and Elvis.
Bizarrely the songs that stick in my head from childhood/teens are.
The bloody smurfs and the bloody Barron Knights version of it.
Brick in the wall by Floyd obviously and Matchstick cats and dogs.
Although Lowery did deserve immortalising. ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

My Dad used to play the Stevie Wonder album Songs in the Key of Life constantly as young un. So anything off that album.
Also a lot of Cat Stevens, but the song Father and Son always teleports me back to the age of 7ish. |

One of the first albums I bought, Songs in the Key of Life. I've been trying to find it on cd, along with some classic Gladys Knight to no avail. ![](/icons/s/sad.gif) |
