I'm not a fan of tattoos and I don't really know much about them but can't you just get it removed instead of covering it up... ?

Go and see a tattoo artist where you like their work, and see what they suggest for a cover up.
Some colours are harder to cover than others, and the size and placing may well affect any other design. |

what colour is it? if it's black lettering then you'll probably have to have something dark over the top of it. depending on the shape of it is what choices you have as well.
you could always try to have it removed by laser before having it covered as well, if you wanted to go through all that. |

A good tattooist could weave the Thai lettering into a Celtic Knot, something like, maybe. |

Go and see a reputable artist who knows their stuff and try to think what you would have if you didn't have that one, any good artist will tell you if the idea is workable.
Sometimes a coverup is a lot easier than people imagine, just takes some eye trickery and imagination, the days of the black blob cover ups are long gone |

go to a coverup specialist they will give you far more options of what is actually possible no point in having another one you are not happy with. |
