Alain de Botton did a book called Consolations of Philosophy. There's a bit on what Seneca taught about frustration and dealing with it which is really well written.
Otherwise maybe just try and make sure you have some time to yourself to rest? From your other posts, it seems like you have it tough and deserve a break every now and again without feeling guilty. |

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna attempt sleep. I'm also trying to minimise my "to do" list.
And maybe some exercise.
Wish me luck.
I will read this in the morning just in case anyone else has any ideas. |

"Think positive whack tunes on what you like and have a giggle with ppl on here that's what i do"
I do keep getting drawn to Fab for escapism. But I find myself wanting to shout at guys asking for sex, and take my mood out on them, in a "Leave me alone, I have enough to do as it is!!!" kinda way. It's probably not the reply they are hoping for...
Buts it's still more fun here than on facebook |

I find I get incredibly ratty without enough down time. Not just sleep, but time awake without having something planned or something I have to do. I'm sure that's probably really difficult to arrange with young children, but it could help a little |

I can't switch off. I think I'm running on adrenalin and I don't know how to stop. When I have free time I see a billion and one jobs to do so I rush around and do them. I feel like I can't relax until they are done. Except I never get it all done. So I don't get to relax? |

Maybe lists. Include what you absolutely HAVE to do, and be realistic. For example, break up your week's tasks, and include some fun or down time.
Once you've completed your list for the day, do something on the list that's fun or leisure.
Be fair to yourself, and your family / friends - your happiness and well being are important. |

In a lamp would be my first choice, but it's your downer - handle it how you like |

"[Removed by poster at 15/12/14 21:46:41]"
My dad used to take me into the tobacco shop when I was a child - fond memories of the smells of black cherry, vanilla and peach melba tobaccos. My dad smoked what smelled like old socks burning |

"I sometimes feel like that so I've started pipe smoking. I find it helps more than anti d's.
What do you put in the pipe? "
I enjoy the aromatics such as black cherry and vanilla. |

The winter doesn't help. Exercise is one of the best things to make you feel better. My friend who is like my Aunt figure, always tells me to be kind to myself. You need to do that, as when you are running on empty, you can only do that for so long. Sometimes, your batteries need a recharge. You need a treat to look forward to, even if it is just a manicure - just something that you really enjoy. Hope you feel brighter soon. |

Was there a glitch in the space/time continuum then? |

Or try Dunhill "nightcap", that will stop your worry in it's tracks! Goes well with a fine single malt, old recipe rum, or a nice limited batch bourbon. |
