Let us all take a moment to think of those less fortunate than ourselves and say something nice that we are grateful for or pay a compliment to a fellow fabber. Merry Christmas all. X |

That is nice. I am grateful for being able to provide for my children. I also took part in the Shoe Box Appeal this year. I filled up a box with goodies for a kid not quite so lucky somewhere in the world ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

My dear mum always taught us as children and into adulthood to count our blessings not our woes - for the most part each of us has everything we need and we are so much more fortunate than much of the world.
Perhaps we should ALL follow in Mr Marmite's footsteps and show a kindness to someone less fortunate than ourselves in the run up to Christmas - giving can be so much more rewarding than receiving. |

I'm grateful to not be living in fear of violence - many people still do on a daily basis. Im also thinking of those for whom Christmas is a hard time of year for other reasons - I hope they get through it in the best way they can. |

I asked my son what he would wish for if he was a granted a wish. Typically he said he would ask for as many wishes as he could have. I then asked so what would you wish for if you had countless wishes. To be honest, I was absolutely dreading him wishing that he had a dad. He didn't wish for that all, he never even mentioned it. THAT not only made my Christmas but my whole life because I now that I have done a good job because he is happy and secure and knows that he is loved by me so very much.
I am as poor as a church mouse, don't own my own home, have nothing in material terms to show for my 44 years on this planet but I have a pure, TRUE, love which is the best thing ever!
I hope everyone can feel loved this Christmas!
