Wow two people who've made a 100 million each from their talents of hitting a ball with a stick and driving a car round a track very fast several times.
I somehow think my nomination of the guy who runs marathons with a fridge on his back for charity's won't be on the list to vote for |

That's right nobody will vote for Hamilton because he is black.

i really hope Lewis doesn't win it.
As an award winning runner myself (2014 Outstanding Individual Performance for Evesham Vale Running Club no less...thought i'd mention it again ) i'd like Jo Pavey to win it as it shows that determination at any age can get you what you dream of.
I cant take Froch seriously as a boxer since he went on tumble |

"Seeing as the public are voting, the white person will win again
What a very strange thing to say
Not for the first time! He's obviously forgotten Christie, Lewis, Thompson, Holmes, Giggs"
Ryan Giggs? |

Ryan Giggs' dad is black, his mum's white - exactly the same as Hamilton. Here's a snippet from an interview Giggs did.
It’s a little-known fact that Giggs is mixed race: his dad, Danny Wilson, a famous rugby player in his day, Union in Wales then League in Manchester, is black. “I don’t go around saying I’m black, never felt the need to. People who know I’m mixed race just know; people who don’t know, you have to explain and they look at you and go, ‘How can you be?’ My dad’s black, simple as that. I’m comfortable with who I am. I get asked about it, it’s difficult for people to get their heads round because I don’t look black, whereas my brother does.” |

"Colour has nothing to do wiv it plenty of the British public spend money to surport Lewis all over the world. "
Exactamundo. Whoever wins will win because the public feel they deserve it. Not rocket science. |

Already picked my winner. The invictus games athletes. Lump to the throat moment when you realise what they have been through and face every day without a multi million pound contract. |

Is it just me or has the whole programme lost its appeal.. It used to be so good having sporting celebs doing silly things. A whole section about each sport... Now it is all about the 10 nominees( not that I have anything against that). |

I think you are confusing this with sport relief lol
I like this format as award shows can drag on a fair bit! |

"I'm glad Jo Pavey got a look in.
"
Yeah, me too, it was an awesome achievement, - but they weren't Olympic or World Championship medals, just European, so I guess that's why she didn't merit the main award. |
