Wow two people who've made a 100 million each from their talents of hitting a ball with a stick and driving a car round a track very fast several times.

I somehow think my nomination of the guy who runs marathons with a fridge on his back for charity's won't be on the list to vote for

This seems to be a two horse race between Rory and Lewis, and it's too close to call.

wow......

no offence... if you were asking me who had the better year... rory or lewis... i'd vote rory!!!

but yes... bring it down to colour if you like....

i think if you names mercedes team of the year... i think that would be fair... but it was only a 2 horse race all season

i really hope Lewis doesn't win it.

As an award winning runner myself (2014 Outstanding Individual Performance for Evesham Vale Running Club no less...thought i'd mention it again ) i'd like Jo Pavey to win it as it shows that determination at any age can get you what you dream of.

I cant take Froch seriously as a boxer since he went on tumble

Ryan Giggs' dad is black, his mum's white - exactly the same as Hamilton. Here's a snippet from an interview Giggs did.

It’s a little-known fact that Giggs is mixed race: his dad, Danny Wilson, a famous rugby player in his day, Union in Wales then League in Manchester, is black. “I don’t go around saying I’m black, never felt the need to. People who know I’m mixed race just know; people who don’t know, you have to explain and they look at you and go, ‘How can you be?’ My dad’s black, simple as that. I’m comfortable with who I am. I get asked about it, it’s difficult for people to get their heads round because I don’t look black, whereas my brother does.”

Is it just me or has the whole programme lost its appeal.. It used to be so good having sporting celebs doing silly things. A whole section about each sport... Now it is all about the 10 nominees( not that I have anything against that).

Yeah, me too, it was an awesome achievement, - but they weren't Olympic or World Championship medals, just European, so I guess that's why she didn't merit the main award.
