little house on the praire

When was the last time you did something out of your comfort zone? I'm not talking sexually.

I've got two things planned for next year

I went to Birmingham last weekend. I rarely visit my hometown as I have so many bad memories, to be honest I hate the fucking place so it's a massive deal to venture back. Was surprisingly enjoyable.

well that's good and different things are big deals to different people. I've got to travel to London on my own and get from kings cross to St pancreas on my own. I know their next to each other but I'm terrified jay said to get off the train and wait for him to come to me but I'm determine to do it on my own

I'm slightly wary of my trip to Bruges as I don't have satnav so will have to get there purely by road signs. So far, my plan is to drive out of the Eurotunnel complex to the main road and turn left.

This morning, I don't normally volunteer to do overtime especially on a Sunday, but I did today! Did 3 hours work this morning!

It's not too bad. You can go indoors, follow the signs. You'll be chuffed you did it.

I do things quite often. Got a few things planned/ booked for next year already. I do it without thinking so I don't have time to worry.

Why not just by a Sat Nav. Garmin and Tom Tom do basic models that cover Europe for £50 - £100.

If you have an up to date phone most have sat nav on them, that's all we use when we are going somewhere we are not to sure about.

Brighton - even Hove!

Because my phone is old and crappy and because I haven't got a car with a built in satnav and I won't buy one because I want it to be built in (next car) so no doubt I will get there and back easily enough but as I've never been, it's out of my comfort zone.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Some days it feels like leaving my house is outwith my comfort zone - I suffer from anxiety attacks in busy places (thankfully MAMOBA is pretty peaceful) but I have done some christmas shopping in the shops (rather than online)

next year, I've booked to do tough mudder, and also to do the next step of my gym training. I'm also letting someone come and stay for a few days in my house just after christmas...

I went to work without makeup on, which sounds like a little thing but is a huge deal for me. I won't be doing it again in a hurry though!
