Remember those? who had one, and what was it called?....whilst we're all casting our minds back to happier times; possibly, who cares for a quick experiment in social segregation?

Who had a pencil box? a pencil tin? or a pencil case?

I never had one of those hairy troll thingys but a lot of girls in school did. I didn't like them to be honest. I had a pencil case though, full of nice pens and felt pens.

I had a pencil case, tin and a box made in woodwork. Never had a troll but did have a Mr man pencil top and Paddington bear. Since then I have never stuck a pencil up someone's bottom. ...not even one with a rubber on it.

I had one with orange hair.

A girl in my class was mad on Polly Pocket and had the pencil case, school bag, pencil topper and all sorts - she was like a walking toy shop.

Always needed balanced pencils, so no unbalancing trolls allowed. Had a pencil case for school, but also had and still use a pencil box on my homework desk back then, now on my computer desk

TT, I thought this was a thread about me.

I never had a pencil topper but I had a pencil box, tin and case. I still have a thing for buying myself pencil cases and I have three on the go at the moment.

I had all 3,a box when I first started school,a tin as I got older and a case in secondary. I had a Snoopy on the end of my pencil,I think I'm too old for trolls
