Do you love horror?

What makes an amazing horror movie for you?

What things annoy you in and make a horror film bad?

For me I love slow, brooding horror that leaves it all up to the imagination.

I hate over the top effects and stupid teenagers who go to "camp death" or Serial Killer lodge" ad wonder why they are all dying.

I love horrors.

It's just a shame that most overuse cgi or basically tell you a scare's coming with the music.

I love American werewolf for it's practical effects. Same with The Thing.

Black&White Utopia

Oh I Love horror too! The blood Guts n gore ones from start to finish not so much . Like the jumpy not expecting it kind. The type that play on ya mind still, a few days later after watching em . With a good story, odd twist etc.

I am a totaly nightmare watching these at the cinema but love that edge of seat feeling... Is a buzz! Makes Mr laugh too! Lol

Yeah same here for the ones that leave it up to your imagination, like Creep or Catacombs, if nothing much happens you do start making up your own plot and scaring yourself.

Love psychological horrors.

Eden Lake - not actually classed as a horror, but...very much is. The fact it can actually happen is the scariest thing of all.

Slow moving horrors that have you believing you know how things will pan out but then completely floor you with something leftfield, leaving you angry/confused/helpless are the best

S x

Babadook was pretty good. So was the Conjuring. I like the New French Extremity films, but not sure you'd count them as horror. Switchblade Romance should definitely be a horror anyway.

I really don't like horror

As I watch very little telly I think I'm overly sensitive and although it doesn't particularly scare me I get terrible nightmares for weeks after watching it

Ballyshannon

Love horror, anything that is close to reality i.e. that could potentially happen to me. I found Wolf Creek hard to watch actually because the story was inspired by real events. The Conjuring was the best I've seen in a long time but Annabelle was crap!
