Ok i am going to say this.

Dune is one of the greatest Sci fi movies ever made. In my humble opinion.

It bombed coz it was not quite Disney for mainstream audience's.

I liked the darkness of lynch.

It's a film I can watch over and over.

Atomics!

What about someone organising a get together at a club next year. Hire whole place out for the night.

A comicon style evening where everyone had wear fancy dress.

Be great fun playing dressed as a storm trooper

Yeah but with the rising of people like Geek Girls, suicide girls, etc, it's now fashionable to be a geek.

I have always worn chunky glasses. If I have to wear them I don't see the point in not making them NHS style old school thick framed ones. Although I have been asked to wear them instead of my contact lenses on a few meets so maybe geeky is now sexy.

The whole point of geekdom is that substance takes presidence over style, hipsters wearing geek chic is the exact opposite and NOT cool

I was wearing them long before hipsters appropriated them. I refuse to change them since I'm contrary like that (plus I actually like being able to see).

The whole point of being a geek is that you wear what is functional and necessary. Wearing glasses just to get the geek look is not geeky
