"Hey Mo, answer me this. years back Bombay Duck was very popular on most menus, but I haven't seen it for years, where did the Bombay duck go?

Availability has been reduced by over-fishing.
It was banned as an import by the ECEU around 1997 as it was not available as a canned or frozen product from approved food processors in India.
The Indian High Commission protested the ECEU ruling and it is now air dried at an approved processor in Mumbai and imported by a wholesaler in Birmingham.
It doesn't get onto many restaurant menus as it's not popular with non-Indian customers; it is, however, available at many Indian owned grocery stores and supermarkets.

Aha! there you are Mo, the taxi business quiet tonight? Voddy and I were beginning to think about giving up and moving on, we've devoured the Bombay mix from this table, and the stale stuff you had placed out in your take away collection sitting area, so Yeah! bring on the Naarns and our mains, lol
