that make you happy and appreciate that life is great. During a meeting today I learnt that somebody is going through a really tough time and it made me appreciate just how lucky I am with my lot.

Other than that - a chilled glass of rose on a summer night, being in the Malvern Hills at sunrise and finding I had a bag of my favourite sweets hidden behind some tins.

What simple things make you happy and why?

A knackered, well worn bakelite telephone from the 1930's

thats an unusual passtime but if it makes you happy why not...re the shoes ...trust me you are not alone,my partner the op is having a new cupboard built for all of hers...its just madness....viva la difference eh
