Ok lives aren't at stake but my biscuit dough has been in the fridge for almost an hour and no way can it be rolled out, to soft.

I believe this to be the fault of (insert current bête noir here) and will be taking action but in the mean time can anyone make any suggestions?

"Pop to the shop for a packet of Maryland cookies. "

How will that translate to Christmas shaped biscuits with icing on in time fro this evening?

It won't but I'll feel much better about it I suppose

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Get some boring but lovely tasting biscuits, decorate and then use the dough another time.

In this instance I would of rolled them out with extra flour, cut into shape then popped them back in the fridge for a hour to keep their shape before baking
