The company I keep. If I feel out of place, I'll feel uneasy and shy. If the people I'm with seem to genuinely enjoy my company, I'll be confident. I completely feed off of other people's energy. |

Too much confidence becomes arrogance. Nothing uglier than arrogance. Enough confidence to hold a fun friendly conversation with somebody new while having enough modesty to know your no better than them is a perfect mix. Sadly I have too much modesty and seriously lack confidence.... |

I don't think that's confidence any more as you said, that's just arrogance.
And I suspect maybe arrogance can be rooted in a lack of confidence?
Fab has made me more confident. Weirdly. |

I think age, or more specifically experience, is important. The more you live, the more you get to know yourself and what matters to you, and where or what you're willing to compromise.
You get to know the vast scope of people and personalities, and with that you know you should let yourself be confident because all the good people in your life want you to be - and you do those relationships the most justice when you are |

Knowing from past experience that I am good at something and will be appreciated. Take dancing for instance (my kind of) - I can put my hand out to any dancer in the room with a broad grin knowing he will enjoy the dance, so I can approach anyone, even the best in the world.

I used to have a pair of pulling pants. Every time I wore them I pulled, but other pants did not stand up to them.

Comfort in my own skin. Took a while to get there... And almost as a consequence, being able to laugh at myself.
That and the big bulge in my trousers... Oh, I meant my wallet being stuffed with lots of copper coins
... What did you think I meant? |

I always feel confident when someone agrees to meet me. I do feel nervous before but adrenalin kicks in before the door is opened and then confidence kicks in. I guess this is feeling comfortable in a situation
