For simply watching catchback tv what does an hours viewing equate to in terms of a gigabyte ?

I occasionally use my phone to tether. I can usually get 2 movies out of 2gb limit.

Depends on quality. 4od usually has around 500-700mb for an hour's tv show. Iplayer can be less (unless you choose HD).
