good books to recommend??

Ciao good morning to the beautiful people of fab, is there anyone reading a good book at the mo? I just finished a very intense book i would recommend to anyone called "a house in the sky" its a true story about a girl being kidnapped for over 450 days in somalia!! Its a mega page turner!! Now i need a new book

1927 by Bill Bryson. The highest paid person was the film star Harold Lloyd earning 30k dollars a week. Al Capone was 'earning' 2m dollars a week. Full of interesting stuff. Babe Ruth, the baseball star walking into hotels and shouting 'who wants a fuck?' haha!

Now that sounds like my kinda book im deffo going to find that! I have read loads of ww2 books about malta and the raf! Incredible storys there, spitfires going up 1 to 30!!

but the others are excellent I read all 6 Thomas Covenant books over 30 years ago wish I new what I had done with them a really great read.

Also if you pick a James Patterson book make sure it only has his name on the cover.

I started to read a book by him called Private but it was terrible and found it was coauthored. I think his only input to the book was to sign for tnbe royalties cheque
