Whitesnake in 1984 at Leeds City Hall - my friend had a big crush on David Coverdale and went with her
Cozy Powell was their drummer at the time and he was left on stage to drum on his own for about 25 minutes and he was amazing...
Can't really remember the rest of the gig but do remember his set |

2004 in Brighton -Scissor Sisters two nights in a row with my son and his mates.. ended up in a beachside club with the band after.
Drank and danced till about 4am. was one of the most hilarious two days and nights of my life. The first time I saw my son in Drag.
What stories of after gig parties since . |

Docklands, Exmoor, Manchester |
Crowded house. Wembley arena 1992 or 93. Supported by voice of the beehive who described the crowds polite but understated response between songs as "rock and roll baseball".
Most recent gig. Deacon Blue on Monday night. Just tremendous. |

Stranglers about 89/90. No Cornwell, but the singer was good. All the old stuff from Rattus, Heroes and the Raven. I couldn't hear for two days. Tiny venue and I think they just amped everything up as it they were playing a massive place.
Punks not dead. Its just having a bit of a lie down and getting its breath back. |

Can't remeber the year but it was Musical Youth as a kid at the Hummingbird, Birmingham. Great at the time but then you grow up and start placing them in the grand scheme of things and maybe it wasn't so good afterall.
The joys of youth.
