WHAT'S THE APPEAL?

To the straight women of Fab, what exactly is the appeal of men on here? Everyone's messaging you all the time and if you offer sex to any of them, 99% of the time, you're guaranteed to get what you want. It's like being in a sweet shop where all the sweets are free, aren't you sick of it? For us guys, the thrill of knowing sex is on the cards is an occasional rarity, so what's the thrill for women? You're on a website with a load of panting dogs holding a lead in their mouths begging to be taken for a walk... if you know what I mean.

The begging dogs* are the price single women pay for being on the site. I actually prefer the ones who come across as humans, who are on here for the same reason as me, the ones who can hold a decent conversation and who find me as attractive as I do them.

There's an underlying attitude on here lately that seems to paint women as either helpless lambs who need protecting from all the horrible one line messages, or as arrogant queens who revel in all the attention. The majority of women on this site know exactly why they are here and can manage the site just fine.

* Although its good to know they are up for one off GBs from time to time

Well it would be if they were reciprocated. I suppose what I'm getting at is if you're attracted to someone and you decide to message a guy first, you're almost guaranteed a reply. The excitement has got to be lower for a woman because it's incredibly more likely to "work out", if you get me.

I think you may be surprised. People by nature feel the need to rant about things that are wrong ergo it appears the majority of men here are 'begging dogs' but Im sure there are far more decent guys than you think.

One uses strategies to keep much of the drooling gunk from the unattractive dogs from disproportionately impinging on one's pleasure.

I'm here like most females for some social interaction with a somewhat diverse group of people as well as to ensure I get my sexual needs met, fairly simply.

There are some straightforward approaches to minimise hassle and anyone contacting me moves at my pace. If they don't, then they've helped make it easier to filter them out. There are those who expect to be around in seconds, humping you, should you momentarily log on. I probably wont see their fancy a fuck message for hours and they're probably all wanked out by then.

It's as troublesome or as relatively easy as you decide to approach it.

I don't think it is any less exciting for a woman than it is for a man when she finds a man that she connects with, the excitement is in the connection and the anticipation of exploring that connection.

We may receive far more messages than single men, it does not follow that we are necessarily attracted to any of the men who message. A lack of self esteem may make some women grateful for the attention and less selective and there are men who will play on that. Having the confidence to know what you are looking for and not settling for less seems to be frowned on by many on here, strong minded women are frowned on as being up themselves divas!!

You're attractive with a good body and you can string a sentence together - so you'd have an advantage anyway. For me the problem isn't trying to sort the 'perfect' meet from the rest - It's trying to filter out the many, many guys who just like the thrill of the chase/chat and won't really meet you! I've come across so many of those that i'll probably just stick to clubs and parties and use fab for socials and the forums. Xx

Yeah it does get stressful when loads of guys offer themselves to you, you don't know who to pick if you like the look of lots of them. When i first came on here i met a few guys, got too many messages and panicked and left it a couple of weeks before i came back. Eventually you figure out a way to make this site work for you though, plus i've ended up getting into regular chats with a fair few people now and they're the ones i'm most interested in now. Is best on here if you fancy a quickie though, can easily get one.

So, for myself, i enjoy chatting to some people on here and looking for quickies. Sometimes i ignore my inbox if it gets a bit much on here though coz it does make me feel stressed, gotta cut of those manners to make this site less stressful as well.
