Leaving a building by the lift, i was told to press the 'G' button for the ground floor, then was told g is for ground.. 'Wow, thanks for that captain obvous! Lol .. Ffs, anyone experience similar?

Where i live in the main shopping centre the G in the lift means gallery so is the top floor, M is the middle floor and C is the ground floor, it can get confusing

Gallery, Mezzanine and City levels I would have assumed. usually you'll find the buttons in ascending order from the lowest level upwards if that helps?

thats no way to wire a lift.. Ffs , all the buttons should be ordered in a hicklty picklety fashion lol

Generally, "1" is the ground floor/street level in American elevators
