"Driving home for Christmas "

I know Chris Rea, he comes from my neck of the woods, well I wouldn't say I know him exactly, it's his mam and dad I know, well I don't really know them, I was in their house one time, well not exactly IN their house, I knocked on the front door.

Thinking about it...no hang on a minute, I didn't knock on the door, more like walked down the driveway...I suppose I never even did that, yeah that's it, I drove past their house on my way home from work one night.

I (f) can't say my favourite as it would spoil a Christmas Eve surprise.

But my second Favourite is Who'd be a turkey at Christmas by Elton John

NW London

Has to be Pogues and Kirsty Mccoll Fairytale of New York if only because the line "Sinatra was swinging" seems appropriate for this site.

Also the line "All the d*unks they were singing" probably sums up this forum quite well

The entire album plays in both flat and car in the run up to Christmas. Can't get enough of it.
