"Wish i knew what would help . Seem to go for a couple of hours then wide awake. It is a real pain .
Coffee nor drink helps. " I think when your sleep pattern gets disturbed by different routine then these Issues can develop more. |

I've had insomnia for 4 years, I go through good stages where i'll only take a few hours to fall asleep and I'll wake a couple times, and then I go through bad stages like at moment and sleep roughly 2 hours a night!
I find the gym helps me, a really hard session 3 hours before bed and a hot green tea.
Or go doctors and get some sleeping tablets however they only let you do 2 weeks at a time usually!

Im not really a fan of sleeping pills. I play alot of sports/go gym late and some time have to be up early. I think thats the main problem. irregular sleep patterns never seem to help |

I suffer from insomnia often. Try aromatherapy... Chamomile tea before bed should help (if it doesn't work straight away, don't give up! I know the taste isn't amazing but it helps!) and try some lavender essential oil. A few drops on your pillow, in the palm of your hands and some in a late night, hot bath should help x |

Stop exercising late. You're brain won't relax with all that adrenaline pumping blood around your body. There are relaxing breathing techniques I learned at the hospital that help but takes a lot of focus. |

i wish i could but the hours i work(sometimes) leave little time for anything but that.
exercising is a big release for me. i take everyday stress and put it in to that hour or two work out. the bonus has also been going from 18+ stones to looking a feeling better than my last body pic i put up |

Exercise is good for the well being of the brain. Bit of a catch 22 as sleep deprivation is detrimental |

sleep is just as important but i have no say in that department when insomnia shows its ugly head… |
