Random injuries, what's your most random?

Only ask as my big toe has just come off completely after bashing my big toe last week and it's a tad sore now.

Stubbing toes on things while walking barefoot or in just socks around the house is a really painful experience, have had one or 2 black toenails myself in the past from stubbed toes, so i feel your pain.

Other barefoot injuries can also be painful like treading on a piece of Lego.

It's like the hammer is magnetically drawn to the hand and not nails or whatever it is your supposed to hit that's not your hand.

Well we are both accident prone and always getting injured. On Sunday, D got the Christmas dec's down, but didn't shut the loft hatch properley. Yesterday I managed to time it perfectly and walk underneath it as it fell! I know have mild concussion and off work for a week

always banging myself - funny one years ago was unloading the stock off the wagon and a stack of about two dozen plastic laundry baskets slid down onto my toe - bloody hurt for a few minutes and then seemed ok - a few weeks as my nail grew it was pure black - it lifted off eventually but has grown back ok - looked horrible for a few months

Fell down a pothole in the grass at Kestrels a year ago..whilst carrying a sunbed with someone, I am glad to say I was wearing a sarong and not sprawled naked on the ground.

Bloomin hurt ended up in A&E with two weeks off work.

Do these nudists who appear on old nudist camp films cooking avoid the bacon?

Would think cooking naked to be a very hazardous task.

I was ironing OH's polo shirts brought the iron too far towards myself and caught my tummy (bare) with the side of the iron had a 4" burn across it

About 8 years ago I broke my wrist and tore the ligaments in my right thigh doing the splits on a wet floor (naked again) had to crawl from the back room into the hall to find my clothes and limp next door to get a lift to the hospital.

Being a medic, I've come across many bizarre injuries. One of the oddest was a little girl who had tried to make a hole in conker. She put a knitting needle on the table pointing upwards, the conker on top of that and pushed down with both hands. The needle went through conker and both hands and we were greeted by what looked like a little girl holding a conker shish-kebab.

Ouch! Similar thing happened to me a few weeks ago on my vespa. Unfortunately for me, the pain in my shoulder means I'm still not back to riding again yet
