Favorite School Teacher

This was mentioned at a party at the weekend and after much discussion in the group, I couldn't single out just one teacher in my high school that was better than the rest, I had a few teachers that I was quite fond of, mainly cause of the subject we did and how they taught it, one particular teacher was so passionate about the subject, he'd go totally off topic sometimes when some one had a question for him, some where quite humorous when teaching, other firm but fair, but I can't really think of just one teacher I liked at school.

Can you?

I had one that looked like Brian ferry

Brian Ferry gives me the major creeps

My favourite ones were from primary school

Too many hormones flying around high school to even take any notice of teachers

Miss Burrows. Man she had fucking great norks!

I'd say she was early 20's probably, blonde, tall, slim and very very pretty. One summer's day she wore a white blouse that in sunlight became totally see through, and when worn with a very lacy bra, well, her nipples were the talk of the bike sheds. (I think she went home at lunchtime to change but whether it was under orders or not I'll never know).

She was my fantasy woman for a very very very long time.

southampton-ish

my grade 2 teacher, Miss Keipert. She was really passionate about everything she did always put in 110%. we put on a marionnette show of Cinderella for the rest of the school and then for our folks too, she made every single puppet herself, painted the backdrops etc. I put my creativity down to her influence.she even invited the entire class to her wedding...lol

Mrs Whittaker - she made every lesson exciting, and taught us to be proud and not ashamed of being smart.

Mr Thomas, a gruff Welshman that inspired, with his white hair I thought he was God.

Mr Maynard - our music teacher, loved to sing but couldn't carry a note bless him. Introduced me to the classics and was instrumental in me learning to play both the piano and violin.

Miss Laine - a stickler for the English language. Encouraged us to read, broaden our horizons, didn't stand for nonsense - like all the others in fact.

Mrs Des Etages...thought I would make a good teacher and sponsored me to go to teacher training college.

I'm nearly 50 and I can remember all of my primary, secondary and college teachers, even the awful ones - Mr Rowlands, maths .

All of them played a part to who I am today - shame there's not the respect for teachers there used to be!

Mrs Fell, the girls Games Mistress who doubled up with the boys Games Master for our swimming lessons.

She looked like Anita Harris and used to stand, legs akimbo,on the poolside talking down to us 14/15 year old boys.

She wore a tight white T Shirt, very short wrap-over white P.E skirt and tiny white undies.

She also had very dark hair, bear in mind this was before pubic shaving became fashionable and you can imagine the view us rampant lads were treated to,we daren't get out of the water.

If our mothers had billed her for our 'starched' bed sheets, she'd have been bankrupt in weeks! R

My hormones where definetly flying for the metal work teacher, only reason i took the subject. He used to shut the door while me and him had a crafty fag together in his little room

There's nobody that really stands out from High School but that's probably because I went to two different ones.

Primary school is a different matter though. There was a lovely woman there called Mrs Force and she was absolutely wonderful. I even called her Mum once

My fav teacher was Mr ****** and he wore cords and had a beard. He understood me & spoke to me nicely to convince me to behave! Fast forward a few moons & I pull a guy in a bar in a Leeds suberb. He tells me his folks live near by, are at the caravan for the weekend & he has the house key. We do it in his parents bed, was amazing. During the cigarette & pillow talk I notice a photo in a frame on the dresser of his parents....sure you can guess the rest.

We had a lovely typing teacher in 4th year. Can't remember her name but she went through a horrible time and you could tell she'd been crying. She got divorced not long after and was much happier in the end.

Worse teacher was our History teacher Mr Lunt. You imagine what all the kids called him.LOL He eventually got suspended for dragging the class idiot out of the class by his tie causing bad friction burns round his neck. Never saw that teacher again.
