Hiya
Got a bit of a dilemma, I split with my wife of 16 years a few months ago and we are doing our best to remain friends
I'll be spending the day up there with her and me kids for Christmas,
Question is what the hell do I get her? I was thinking perfume and a really nice set of earnings that I seen, however I have a number of female friends who say buying jewelry is not a good idea as its too personal and she could read to much into it coz I would need to look for the right item, but surely this is the same regardless of what I buy.
I'm not really into jewelry myself and just think it's bits of metal so can't see any problem
Anyway I'd appreciate any input

Get her an experience day. Amazon local do ones that are not crazy extreme or expensive. It can be something like a posh lunch out or a falconry thing . So she can have a memory and maybe invite a friend or her new fella if that suits |

put in the card something like glad we're still able to be friends (or summat more in your words) then she won't get any mixed messages? words work better than gifts i think. or just tell her that and then ask if she wants anything off you for christmas. |
