We like this programme, the before and after and how peoples lives are changed.
The thing is though,it seems to mirror our society in as much as the treatments are mostly always given to those who,by their own admission, have abused their bodies for years and never really tried to look after themselves.
Why not give treatment to those who have looked after themselves but for whom age/circumstance have taken their toll?
Wouldn't it be nice if those members of society who did their best actually got rewarded for a change?

I used to really like this programme when it first started
there were no invasive treatments just a make over, hair do and new wardrobe
They showed you what you could do to yourself without the need for any cosemetic surgery
When I last watched it they were all having loads of cosmetic stuff done, teeth eyes and boobs so I got fed up with it
Mere mortals don't generally have £1000s spare to have all that work done |

Its more dramatic taking a woman with broken teeth and a smokers skin and changing her. The public want the big effect and will watch if they get it. Advertisers will pay more if the public are watching. So the circle is back to the beginning. |

But the subjects on the show get it done for free.
It's on at tea time now,not the best time to be viewing someone who's teeth look like a mouthfull of Sugar Puffs!

Siren's got me hooked on the Biggest Loser shows (UK, USA & Australia).. now those guys and girls really have to do some work to get that weight off - and save their own lives in the process too.
What surprised me most was the difference in them at the end of the process. Not just in their looks, which in some cases were amazing, but in their outlook on life as well. A programme well worth following. |

People moan about some of the reality programmes but some you just get hooked on and have to follow
Rob is into one called a place in Greece, its about a gay couple that have moved to Greece and it must be one of the most unintentionally funny programmes hes ever watched |
