I would never not use a condom not with just guys from fab but also out in the real bad world too, It's way too risky. It only takes just that once to end up catching a nasty STI or HIV and I value my life too much and people in it all for someone that wants to have fun with no jacket. Only long time partners for me. When people post on these threads about how regularly they are checked I am curious to know:
a) what their reaction would be if they got a positive result, especially for HIV
b) would they be honest with past and possible playmates and/or stop playing
I'm not in any way judging anyone's choice to play without protection but it is easy to think "it will never happen to me" ..... what if it does? |

I use condoms AND get checked regularly. There is no such thing as safe sex, it's SAFER!!!
I'd be gutted if I caught something, but it's the risk I take, just like it's a risk with getting in my car and driving. Of course I'd tell previous play mates if I caught something.

Sharing a toy with a condom is only safer if you change condom between users just as it is with penetration.

Fortunately, my industry provides PVC suits for working in some extremely hazardous areas...I've appropriated a couple of these plus some breathing apparatus so I'm fine so long as I don't mind no sensation at all and sweating 47 litres per hour 
Seriously though, condoms for penetration, full suite of checks every 3 months and the awareness that I'm still taking a risk regarding oral and group play...come the day I need to get in touch to tell someone to watch out for their cock turning green and dropping off, my shag diary will be consulted and I'll be able to contact around 95% of my meets (there's a small percentage in clubs whose names I don't get, but I'd contact the club and ask them to let all patrons know who were in there same night as me). Like many of us you take responsibility for your sexual health, I was thinking more in terms of those who play bareback and think getting checked is sufficient to keep them safe.
It doesn't matter how often one is tested - a test is only relevant to the day on which it was taken. |

I've gone bareback with women that seem genuine when ive asked them about their sexual health but its not something i do often. Also done it 'in the moment' kind of thing.
Regularly get tested and always been STI free. Play safer now though, older and wiser. |

Always safer sex here & wouldn't consider it without condoms. Suppose back in the late 80's we had all the AIDS adverts on TV which probably left their impression so wore condoms from the outset. No great issue in using them. |
