Just exactly how do "they" plan to stop people watching, "banned" material? I cannot see how they can keep up with the volume. If I want to download a fisting film, from the states or Germany for example, how can they actually stop it? |

There are lots of bits of legislation that sneak up on people that don't cause a fuss until people get caught up in them
Classic example.... How many people "south of the border" know that as of next week England and Scotland will have different drink drive limits?????.... Double bonus points if anyone not in Scotland knows what the new limit will be without having to google it?? |

reading the article, it applies to porn produced and hosted in the UK. it does not prevent viewers watching stuff produced and hosted elsewhere. (till they decide to nanny the net that is) there's nothing to prevent people making this stuff, encrypting it, sending it overseas and hosting it in a country with a more liberal regime. just don't get caught making it...... |

The EU tried banning all porn including censoring the internet last year with its sneakily titled policy, "eliminating gender stereotyping".
